Rommell Trotter Obituary

Orlandes "Rommell" Trotter, age 70, of Los Angeles, California, passed away peacefully on April 23, 2024, in Baltimore, Maryland. Rommell was known for his vibrant spirit and unwavering kindness that followed him like a cherished melody.

Rommell was born on September 22, 1953, to a world awaiting his unique light. He was the heartbeat of his family, a loving husband, and a best friend to his wife of 40 years, Deborah Trotter. He was a cherished brother to Wanda Callahan, Mary Hyemingway, Penny Wallace, and Debra Kemp. His wide circle of loving cousins, family, and friends felt the warmth of his generosity and care throughout his life.

Professionally, Rommell dedicated much of his time to the Towson Detention Center, where he served as a respected custodian. He took pride in his work and the relationships he built. Rommell's joy was amplified by his love for music, particularly as a bass guitar and drums player. One of his notable achievements was performing with his band "Signs and Wonders."

Rommell's love story began in Los Angeles, where he met his beloved Deborah. Their strong bond was a testament to true companionship. A man of many passions, Rommell enjoyed the simple pleasures of grilling a good steak, cheering for the Ravens, and his devout fellowship over 12 years as a parishioner at Calvary Christian Church, where his faith deeply grounded him.

Orlandes "Rommell" Trotter leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, and music that will continue to inspire and resonate with all who knew him. He will be profoundly missed and forever remembered.
